Microsoft Office Retail comes with a Product Key you use at setup. Once you got to office.com/setup and enter it. It makes you tie registration to a MS account. It then gives another product key. So when you log in to your MS account and look at your registered products the keys listed online do NOT match the one on the box. IN windows you can run the following command in command prompt that will give you the last 5 of your registered key.

I've got a copy of office 2016 mac from my MSDN Subscription, once i've downloaded the iso, i can get a product key as well. How do i use this product key to activate office 2016. Everytime i install it asks me to activate via signing into my microsoft account which obviously shows no 365 subscription. Office for Mac 2011 product keys. My product key isn't working. Is there anything on the Mac side that we can use to help identify what MS account and key is associated with the mac install? I have the original Key. I just need to know what MS account and 'Other' key it is associated with.
